4th District representatives to hold telephone town hall

Rep. Matt Shea and Rep. Bob McCaslin are inviting 4th District citizens to join them Wednesday, March 27, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a telephone town hall.

“This is a great opportunity to connect with constituents back home who can't always make it over the pass and to Olympia to express their ideas or concerns,” said Shea. “I value the input of the citizens I represent as we work for less taxes and more freedom.”

“I'm looking forward to a lively, constructive discussion,” said McCaslin. “There are issues being decided right now in Olympia that will have an impact on all of us. Hearing from our constituents as we discuss these issues helps us as we fight for our shared values and priorities.”

The telephone town hall is conducted much like a radio call-in program. Shea and McCaslin will give a legislative update and then take callers' questions.

People who wish to participate may call (509) 404-3047 between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27. Callers may listen to the program and may ask a question by pressing the STAR (*) key on their telephone keypads.

For more information, contact Rep. Shea at (360) 786-7984 or Rep. McCaslin at (360) 786-7820.

The 105-day 2019 legislative session is scheduled to end April 28.
